Could we give Christina A. a break?

Picture it,  SUPERBOWL Sunday.  Green Bay Packers (Green and Gold) versus Pittsburg Steelers (Gold and Silver)?  Really need to pay more attention.  We all stand for the national anthem.  We mouth the words some of us, because let's face it we are musically challenged.   But then we hear it and think Wait did I hear what I think I heard?   Is there something missing?  Oh yeah a verse or two was skipped.  Yes the national anthem had some words skipped during the start of the Super Bowl.  But then there were countless others that have done worse.  Many instances come to mind of poorly sung Star Spangled Banners. ( Roseanne Arnold during the baseball game!  Ouch!)  I blame it on Francis Scott Key the writer.  This song was sung in taverns over

200 years ago.  So don't feel bad Roseanne and Christina.  Those high then low pitches made the song fun back then and a challenge right now.  Share your thoughts.
