Dignity of Labour

By labor we generally mean the work done with our own hands. All wise and renowned men had put in strenuous affords in order to achieve their goals.
It is the dignity of labor that allows us to propose alternative paths of life and society. Then on the other side we find the dignity of peasant who has a contact with nature, cultivates barren land, and frowns different crops by working hard till dawn dusk. His tedious work must be acknowledged.
Respect or manual work is or found Islamic value that motions have now abandoned. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) himself soared the best was ample to dignify manual work. There was no house hold chore too low or undignified for the Prophet. He used to mend his shoes, wash and stich his clothes himself. This was to show the people about the dignity of labor and set an example for other to follow.
Honest lies in honest toil
The people of developed countries are unique in respecting the labor. They do not mind physical work. To then:

Poor and rich alike do routine business and household chores the chief us a corporation drives his own car, the owner of a business mops his own store and high government officials go home and work for their children.
Most cultures have denigrated handymen for centuries like Hinduism the accent Greek mythological promoted material fatalism fatalism suggesting that some people are born to rule, some to be ruled.
It is false belief that fate alone one great and dignity plays no role in it. NO one become great if he does not pass through the mill of hard work. It has been said: “Diligence is the mother of great luck, and God gives all things to industry. Industry pays debts and idleness increases them"
There is important that working people participate in the public consultation process which is now taking place. This opens the door for public participation through unions and public groups. Arrange workshops, seminars and conferences on labor related issues for workers to aware the people that hard work is key to success.
Being Muslims we must follow the teachings of Islam which are our guiding principles. In Islam honest work of all kinds is worth respecting. It is no shame to earn livelihood by labor Islam teaches: work is Worship.
Let us take this glorious teaching in its true spirit and let us not look down upon the people who manual work because Hardworking people are symbol of great nations.
