Earthquake Rocks New Zealand

On Tuesday, a 6.5 magnitude earthquake rocked New Zealand.  Buildings totally destroyed and many vehicles were crushed as the earthquake took place in middle of the day.  Sixty-five people perished in the earthquake and hundreds are missing. 

This is not the first time that New Zealand has had to deal with the parting and shifting of land.  On September 4, 2010; the island country had a 7.1 magnitude earthquake.  People woke up to the shakes of the earthquake which took place around 4:30 in the morning. There were 200 injured.  One death took place it was a heart attack.  

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by this earthquake.
