Elizabeth Taylor: Dame of Elegance

Elizabeth Taylor.   That name brings about a lot of images:  movie star, humanitarian, sexy,  marriage, divorce, and even vixen.  As a child I remember seeing the epic movie Cleopatra.  It was very long and I barely understood what was going on.  But that woman on screen and off offered another image... Strength.

  Despite the pitfalls in her life of multiple marriages, broken friendships, and disappointments;  she is my pick for comeback kid.  She couldn't recreate herself, she didnt have to.  She won hearts as a child and captivated the minds of many as an adult.  To many people she represented a vivaciousness and elegance that had never existed before.  This icon of stardom will surely not fade.  She will bring her demure charm to another generation of actresses.
