She was five feet and four inches tall. Her smile was her trade mark. In his earlier life she lives in a small house with her brothers and sisters. She was the youngest among her siblings. Her brother make a band name Jackson 5. In seventy seven she was part of Penny Gordon on Good Times show.

After the first month of her marriage with James Dabarge she got divorced. Her first Solo album was Janet Jackson. That album was not attracted by people and after about two years she recorded Dream Street and suffered again a disaster. Control the album was the first which attract people and five million copies in United States sold alone.

This victory continues and Rhythm Nation 1814 sold nine million copies in United States. Having sold over the hundred million copies she was in the list of best selling records in the history for contemporary music.
