On the Easter cost of southern Africa in Indian Ocean this island exist. It is on the east of Mozambique. It is counted as the world fourth largest Island. Its height is 2876 meters. The area of the island is 587040 square kilometers.
About hundred and sixty five years ago Madagascar was broken off from India. Before that it was a part of India.
Two rivers Mananara and Magoro river flows from the center highlands to east coast, Manigory flows from Lake Alaotra.
