mia-amber-davis-2 She started with intern then production. Her Career begins form some television shows, Such as “Ricki Lake” etc. Then she becomes the producer of the Ricki Lake show. She produces a dating show, Change of heart. She was the booking producer for star Jones show on court TV. Currently she is Producer of TVs longest courtroom dramas, Divorce Court.

While producing, an acting opportunity presented itself and Mia Amber burst onto the silver screen as “Rhonda” the full figured co-ed in the DreamWorks feature film “Road Trip”.

With the success of “Road Trip” Mia landed her first magazine cover (“Belle”) and Mia Amber realized that she wanted a coveted place in the world of plus sized modeling. Mia did her research, reinvented herself by losing 90 lbs., and was blessed with the opportunity to represent Ashley Stewart as a “Great Woman of Style.”

mia_amber_images As a model Mia Amber has also worked with Just My Size, Richard Metzger, Monif C., and Queen Latifah for Curvation, Abby Z., Lane Bryant and numerous others. As an Ashley Stewart campaign model Mia Amber was selected to be the face of The Butterfly Bra designed by another curvy triple threat, R&B superstar and actress, Jill Scott.

In 2008 she was appointed Creative Editor-at-Large for Plus Model Magazine.

Mia believes in stepping out on faith to realize her dreams and travels internationally as a speaker at seminars for aspiring models.

In February 2010 Mia Amber was honored to be the host of the inaugural, “Queens Fashion Week,” a role she cherished because it gave her the privilege of representing her hometown of Queens, NY.

Mia Amber began blogging (www.MiaAmber.WordPress.com) as a way to keep in touch with her fans and answer the multitude of questions asked of her daily by models and model citizens alike!

Currently, Mia Amber is represented by the Plus Division of MSA as well as the commercial division of Innovative Artists in New York.
