MY STORY OF INSPIRATION
Written by Fatima Zaidi
Days pass by, time runs and the wheel of life takes the turn. When we are born and naturally till we grow up we are inspired by many things like I clearly remember when I was four or five years old I wanted to be a pilot when I turned eight I got inspired by the cartoons tom and jerry and I wanted to be a cartoon. When I was fourteen I wanted to be a model but now when I am eighteen though I have made my aim to be a journalist but I am highly inspired by Pakistan army which consists of our dear soldiers which later turn to be martyrs
My inspiration are Pakistani soldiers because they are all very strong and where ever they are ,they are knit as a bond they are vigilant as eagles and protect us from evils. They live to bring peace and want terror to forever cease. They are the men of great strength, who live at the borders to fight for their land and if they are not in Pakistan we will never be able to sleep without fear in our houses. The reason behind our sound sleep is Pakistani soldiers as it is said and I quote
"Pakistani soldiers are awake at night
That is the reason we sleep so tight"
I am inspired by their success and failures both. Success inspires me to continuo doing well and failures inspire me to learn from my mistakes and not repeat them. They inspire me because they are on duty round the clock, whether it is bright sun rain are thunder or storms they keep working in silence away from our sights. They are brave and selfless and a true symbol of sacrifice. 'Duty first' they say. For them leisure is sweet only when the work is done
Physically tough and mentally robust, the soldiers of Pakistan army are second to none in professionalism and duty to duty. They live hard, tough and rugged life. They are inspired to defend the home land whole year long they stay away from their family but the thought of being martyred any time gives them more courage. Being a soldier to protect your land is the only job where there is no corruption or bribery is involved. It is free from all menace. Every person complains that life does not pay back. But ever soldier or an ordinary army officer does not complains because life pays back to them life pays them smiles whenever they do their work smilingly and with an acute sense of humor his cost cannot be measured in quantum. A solider spend his boyhood in uniform grows up to be a man and retires at an age where contamipraties in civil are at the peak of their professional pursuits. He pays it all the way; he pays the cost in his personal comfort. Physical hardship, exposures to bullets, danger, chilling winters scorching summer etc. yes! He pays the ultimate cost of choosing his career by losing his life. His choice costs him his life because we all sleep snug and tight. In spite of all this the soldiers love their profession .we as a nation as a nation think before doing any deed that is in our favor or not about the soldiers never ever thinks like this .Pakistani soldiers voluntarily join the army ,serve proudly and die honorably because they are the defenders of Pakistan. When they are martyred the life pays back brilliantly our loving soldiers, so easily leave their lives in the love of their land. Sacrifice their lives and turn to be martyrs because their true love is enclosed in their land as John Keats said and I quote,
"I have been astonished that men could die martyrs for their religion I have shuddered at it. I shudder no more. Love is my religion I could die for that " .
There are lots of things which inspire me to be a soldier but the most delicate of all is that Pakistan for the soldiers and I play a vital role in my being. It is my motherland being inspired by the soldier I also want to do something to make my motherland prosperous. I just have a little message for my motherland. As Graycic Harmon said and I quote,
"My mother is a never-ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness and being. I may sometimes forget the words but always remember the tune"
