Nokia is no more using MeeGo!..Going for Windows Phone 7 Operating system?

Nokia is no more working on MeeGo operating system. Nokia will useMicrosoft windows Phone 7 operating system and trying to ally with Microsoft windows. For that purpose Nokia is calling a conference today, at which expected is that they will give full details of new strategy.MeeGo is based on Linux operating system and was going to combine Intel’s Moblin with Nokia's technology. Nokia had already announced that they are going to launch N9, that will use MeeGo technology, but this report shows that the plane changed and now they are going for Microsoft Windows 7 Mobile.
The Nokia chief executive officer Stephen Elop who also worked with Microsoft as senior executive will make alliance with Microsoft for developing a line of smart phones that will run on windows mobile technology. This move will cut of research and development expenditure of Nokia mobile as closing of MeeGo and Symbian Operating systems.
Microsoft will also show great participation in deal because of by putting its software in world largest mobile manufacturingcompany but its presences in United States is yet not increased. 33.1% was over all market share of Nokia in 2010. Which less by 5.9% is as noticed in 2009, according to report of watcher IDC. On the other hand Google Android operating system is also a big threat for Nokia mobiles. .
"Android continues to gain by leaps and bounds, helping to drive the Smartphone market," said IDC analyst Ramon Llamas, in a research note Monday. "It has become the cornerstone of multiple vendors' Smartphone strategies, and has quickly become a challenger to market leader Symbian."
The share of Microsoft were flat in midday trading Wednesday, at $28.11, while Nokia was up 2.53%, to $11.57
