gingerGinger?  The memories of gingerale as a kid on New Years (it looked like Champagne)drinking it to celebrate the New Year.  Gingersnaps on a cold autumn day at my Aunt's house and the sharp kick that hit you taste buds.  Ginger made it all possible.  Ginger also has for thousands of years been a remedy for illness.  Let's take a look at Ginger and the role it has on health.

Benefits:  Ginger can be used to prevent certain cancers, decrease nausea, and boost the immune system. 

Ginger is a good source of Potassium, Magnesium and Vitamin B6.

So the next time you are in your market.  Pick up some fresh ginger and add it to your chicken, vegetables, and deserts.
