It's Monday. Ugh! I hate Mondays because it means I start another week at work. I hate being bombarded with meetings and people. Most of all I am bombarded with tasks and paperwork galore. So what can we do to tame that tension headache? What can we do to tame that overwhelming feeling?
We practice relaxation to get rid of stress.
Read a book to escape
Express yourself by writing down the things in a journal that make you feel stressful
Laugh at a funny movie or video clips
Assert yourself my saying NO
EXercise daily to reduce tension in the body
Adjust your thinking to a positive thoughts
Talk to a trusted friend
Indulge in luxuries such as taking a bath with scented candles, listening to music, and gardening
Oxygen needs to be brought to the brain by breathing
Nap during the day at least 20 minutes
