Record increase in Mobile subscriber in Pakistan during 2010

According to new report of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority(PTA) stated that, during the period of last six months from July 2X10 to December 2X10, cellular subscribers beaten 102.77 million limit. (Reported by ProPakistni)

The density of the cellular users in the country increased 0.9 percent in last six month, from 60.8 percent to 61.7 percent.

With 1.79 million subscribers addition in six month China Mobile Company Zong stood first during this session. It is because of LBC offers by Zong. Zong have now 8.50 million subscribers in total.

The market leader Mobilink is still leading market with 32 percent share of market with a number of 31794292 subscribers. In this period though, Mobilink lost above 0.4 million subscribers by calming rectification of data.

Telenor added 894597 subscribers following by Ufone and Warid with 725920 and 585789 users respectively.
