US Senator Chris Lee Resigns over photo

There on the Craiglist is a photo of Senator Chris Lee.  The Senator is shirtless.  Other than a few more weeks in the gym the photo is quite poetic.  What is the real problem here?  Oh yes, he is married with children.  Then again so are many other politicians that are caught in the flashbulbs of media.  Oh yeah he was trying to pick up some woman on Craigslist.  What about this lady's actions? Susan desperately seeking, single white male for D and D must drive a BMW.   He lied about his age and job.  Seems like the smart thing to do when you are a married

senator on a website.  Who knows what nut can find you.  He was a man who had too much time on his hands.  Probably still wondering if he had "It".  How many senators over the hundreds of years have been caught with their hands in cookie jars so to speak?  Seems like an ongoing trend.  But a lot of people have a problem with image.  We elect human beings with a fallible nature to not fail us and it is not even the job that they fail us at.  It's their personal and private lives that give us pause for apology.  We expect them not to do things that we ourselves do.  What if we woke up every morning and had flashbulbs go off as we exited our homes after arguments with our family?  What if we had to keep our kids in special schools for the sake of their safety?  What if every skeleton in our closet were released for public ridicule?  What if our sins were out for public auction in tell all books written by our "jilted" loved ones?  Then would we be so quick to cast the first stone?   Share your thoughts.
