Valentine Day falls on 14 February of every year. It is named after Christian Martyr and over the years it becoming a day on which lovers traditionally expresses their feeling of love for each other. With passage of time it is also penetrating in the societies and countries which don’t like this festival before. Like in Pakistan, special programs arranged at different places, including Hotels, Universities, Multinational Companies. Some how media also involve in it, like some channels over’s message sending facilities to send greeting to there beloved one.
Love is expressed by giving flower of Red colors on this specific day. These kinds of actives are well witnessed in mostly posh locations of countries like Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore and Capital city of Islamabad. People in these areas are adopting valentine as there home festival.
According to, my research, in Pakistan.
- 58% people celebrate Valentines Day.
- 24% people think that it’s not right thing.
- 18% people didn’t know about Valentines Day.
14 February is a day to express love that is good but if you are lover don’t wait for 14 Feb, Just say as soon as you feel you are in love with some one. Love is not dependable on 14 Feb, Expression don’t need dates. Dates may depend on love as some time it remain in mind forever and become unforgettable memory.
I think that still it is a good day for all those who shy and didn’t expressed there feeling, valentine is coming after two days, there is a good chance if you didn’t expressed your feeling to your beloved one by a red flower. Don’t be shy say it before it went late.
Good luck
