What is Vitamin K good for? What does this little known Vitamin do?
Vitamin K decreases bone loss, rosacea(skin disorder redness of skin), decreases bruising, and possible treatment of Alzheimers. It has also been used to prevent woman from the risk of osteoporosis.
Symptoms of vitamin K deficiency include: Liver damage, coronary heart disease, anemia, bruising, heavy menstrual flow, and heavy bleeding.
Foods rich in Vitamin K are: parsley, swiss chard, spinach, kale, cabbage, avacado, kiwi, grapes, and broccoli.
*Vitamin K is a vitamin used to regulate blood flow (blood clotting) so patients on Warfarin or other blood thinners need to exercise caution when using supplements or eating foods rich in Vitamin K.
