YOUR BIG YEAR is a global competition by SMALLER EARTH organization for the selection of global ambassador

With 60,000 applicants from 221 countries (that’s more countries participating with us than the Olympics and the UN), Smaller Earth has built an inspiring competition to positively impact the world.

Through a series of tasks with themes of entrepreneurship and global citizenship, applicants will compete to win the grand prize, a year-long trip to 5 continents meeting community and world leaders. Your Big Year is a featured event of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which is endorsed by world leaders including President Obama and former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

On November 11, 2011 (11/11/11), Smaller Earth announced 111 finalists who are currently working on 3 tasks for judgment. From these 111, Smaller Earth will choose 12 dedicated and inspirational people to be flown to Liverpool for the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in March 2012, where they will compete in “The Apprentice” style challenges. The ultimate winner of the grand prize will be announced on March 18 at the closing dinner for the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral.

Top 111 participants are selected to compete in the Stage – 2 of YBY (3 Tasks) among 60,000 other participants from 221 countries and ZOHA KHALID from PAKISTAN is one of them.

She is a SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR, POETESS, CREATIVE WRITER, SPEAKER, SPOKEN WORD ARTIST, Aspiring JOURNALIST, HOST,REGULAR BLOGGER and most importantly an OPTIMIST.

She recently arranged an awareness campaign (online) and event in ICG, Islamabad about AIDS awareness as a part of my participation and activism for volunteer work for cause with many volunteers from different institutions. 300+ students attended the presentation session whereas 450+ got interacted with us to know more about our awareness project. Many international volunteers are now working with us in that project.

It is a group of some friends and family members to bring hope in people after downfall or hard time, by some creative activities, words and actions.

2) Talent Pro Tech 

A project to help new talent in managing their skills, promoting them, giving them a vast exposure to the world and also journeying about talent based activities and taking interviews from skilled and talented people.
